Hands-On Activity: My Little Lollipop

Skill: writing, craft

Materials: My Little Lollipop skill sheet, various collage materials (tissue paper, straws, pom-poms, etc.), glue, pencil

  • Students can design their own lollipop!
  • Give each student a My Little Lollipop skill sheet. Have them write what flavor lollipop they would like to create.
  • Then provide groups of students with a bin of collage materials and glue. Allow students to take turns choosing items and creating their own lollipop.
  • When their creation is complete, have students attach their lollipop to their sheet. Then finish writing about it. What materials did they use? What word would they use to describe how their lollipop would taste?
